As far as the call is concerned, late in a game, particularly a playoff or SuperBowl game, penalties typically have to be flagrant or at least glaringly clear. This was a borderline call. Defensive holding is probably one of the least called infractions in the game as well, which makes the fact that the ref thought it was a good time to call one, even worse.
